Pair arrested after rape attack

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of rape after an attack in a Suffolk village.

A woman was raped in Ringshall village near Needham Market on Wednesday. Police cordoned off part of the area in a search for clues.

The victim was too distressed to be interviewed, a police spokeswoman said.

A 26-year-old man from Trimley near Felixstowe and a 20-year-old from Brentwood in Essex are being held at Bury St Edmunds police station.

Both men are due to be questioned by detectives, the spokeswoman said.
