A 23-year-old motorist died after his Volvo S40 car left the road and struck trees on the A1095 in Suffolk.

The accident happened at Reydon on Tuesday night about a quarter-of-a-mile east of the A12 junction at Blythburgh.

The man, who suffered head and chest injuries, was taken to the James Paget Hospital at Gorleston in Norfolk but died soon after arrival.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the crash or anyone who saw the car on the road to contact them.
