Arrests after helicopter pursuit

Three people have been arrested after a police helicopter pursuit in Suffolk.

Officers in Felixstowe spotted a stolen vehicle in the early hours of the morning and the driver failed to stop and made off at speed, police said.

The car was then pursued along the A14, with the aid of the helicopter, until it came to a stop at Nacton and the three occupants attempted to flee.

A 21-year-old man and two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and theft of a vehicle.
