Teenagers arrested over bomb hoax

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of making a bomb hoax at the Lowestoft Air Festival in Suffolk.

An anonymous caller telephoned police on Friday afternoon claiming there was a bomb on the beach at Lowestoft which he was going to blow up.

Officers began inquiries to trace the caller and two 17-year-old youths were later arrested in Lowestoft.

They have been taken into custody in Lowestoft where they are being questioned by police.
