Armed man barricaded inside flat

Police officers in Suffolk have been called to deal with an armed siege.

A man has locked himself inside a flat on the corner of Norwich Road and Bramford Road in Ipswich, and armed police have arrived at the scene.

Police negotiators have also been called to the property to help end the stand-off.

Some nearby homes have been evacuated by police and Bramford Road has been cordoned off while officers deal with the situation.
