Navy resumes hunt for 'lost' bomb
Royal Navy divers have resumed a search off the Suffolk coast for a World War II bomb that broke free after it was towed out to sea.
The 1,000lb bomb (500kg), thought to be German and dropped in 1942, was washed ashore at Felixstowe a week ago and hundreds of homes were evacuated.
Bomb disposal experts attached the device to a floating frame to tow it two miles out to sea to destroy it.
Strong tides dislodged the bomb and divers are now trying to relocate it.
A 500m exclusion zone imposed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency will remain in place until the bomb is exploded.
