Robber threatened staff with gun

A masked man armed with a hand gun has attempted to rob a shop in Suffolk.

The robbery attempt happened at the G and M Corner Shop in Waveney Crescent, Lowestoft, at just before 2100 BST on Saturday, said Suffolk Police.

The man threatened the shop owner with a gun and demanded money. He then ran off and was last seen going down an alley way near Kimberly Road.

The man was wearing dark clothing and a mask. Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk Police.
