Post Office to close 18 branches
The Post Office has confirmed that 18 of its branches in Suffolk are to close following a consultation.
The Post Office said the cutbacks were necessary to make the service sustainable and most people would still be within a mile of a post office.
In Ipswich, the Fore Street branch has been saved.
However, six others will be shut, along with four in Woodbridge, two in Sudbury and one in Bramfield, Aldeburgh, Eye, Saxmundham, Reydon and Bungay.

- Norwich Road, Ipswich

- Ballingdon Street, Sudbury
- Pleasant Place, Burstall
- Pearsons Way, Copdock
- Low Road, Bramfield
- Fairfield Road, Aldeburgh
- Hasketon Road, Woodbridge
- Leiston Road, Knodishall
- Martlesham BT Research Laboratories, Martlesham Heath
- Lowestoft Road, Reydon
- Flixton Road, Bungay
