Former Adnams chairman gets OBE
The former chairman of Adnams brewery is one of several people from Suffolk recognised in the Queen's Honours list.
Simon Loftus led a business that won numerous awards for its social and environmental impact, including the Queen's Award for Enterprise.
Its centre at Reydon supports one of the biggest green roofs in Europe with solar panels providing hot water.
Mr Loftus, who becomes an OBE, said the appointment was in recognition of the work done at Adnams as a whole.
He said the business had been transformed into a value-driven and informal workplace which recognised the individual aspirations of employees.
