Woman found after night on moors

Janet Willins

A woman reported missing after going for a walk on the Staffordshire Moorlands has been found after apparently being out there all night.

Janet Willins, 53, from Beeston, Nottingham, was reported missing on Monday afternoon.

Her car was later found in a car park close to Mill Dale, a beauty spot.

Police said she was found by a member of the public and then taken to hospital by air ambulance where she is receiving treatment.

The search operation went on through most of the night and involved sniffer dogs, the police helicopter and members of the Buxton and Derby Mountain Rescue Teams.
