Flood warning issued for county

People in the Staffordshire Moorlands have been warned of possible flooding after a severe weather warning was issued for the West Midlands.

The warning affects people in Oakamoor, Cheddleton, Alton, Checkley, Upper and lower Tean and Consall.

The Met Office said up to 22mm (0.9ins) of rain was predicted to fall in places on Saturday afternoon but that the rain would ease in the evening.

Some roads have been closed and train routes are also experiencing delays.
