The parents of a 26-year-old woman found stabbed to death at her home have paid tribute to their "precious and special" daughter.
Sarah Richardson was found dead in Lyndhurst Drive, Brown Lees, Staffordshire, on Monday.
Her parents Beryl and Alan Boote said in a statement: "She was honest, loyal and sweet, and everyone loved her."
Police have until 1200 BST to question a 41-year-old man arrested on suspicion of Mrs Richardson's murder.
The arrested man, from north Staffordshire, had been treated in hospital but was taken into custody in Stoke-on-Trent.
Mrs Richardson, who had worked as a hairdresser, was described by her family as "the loveliest daughter anyone could ever have had".
Her parents added: "Her brothers and sisters-in-law adored her, as did her nephew and nieces.
"She had a wonderful personality, and was an excellent hairdresser. All of her clients were very fond of her."
'Star and angel'
Mrs Richardson went to Knypersley First School, Park Middle and Congleton High, where she went on to do her GCSEs.
She also attended the Angela Beardmore School of Dance until she was 15.
The hairdresser studied a six-month course in art at Crewe College before training as a colour technician at Francesco's in Stafford.
She went on to work as a senior stylist at the Willard Gibbs salon in Congleton Road, Sandbach.
Her parents added: "She was a star and an angel, and loved all of her family to bits.
"We could never have found a better daughter - she was precious and special."
