Three sought in killed woman case

Samantha Bennett

Detectives have identified three people they want to speak to in connection with the death of a 19-year-old woman.

Samantha Bennett, of Tunstall, was found lying dead behind a house in Blake Street, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, on 19 March. She died of head injuries.

Police want to speak to two men and a woman, all in their 20s, seen nearby on the day she was found.

Two men, who were arrested in connection with her death, are currently on police bail.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with theft as part of the investigation and another man was arrested and then bailed in relation to immigration matters.

Ms Bennett's mother Angela has backed police calls for information in the case.

Police officers urged anyone with information to contact them.
