Two in court over man's shooting

Kevin Nunes Two men have appeared in court charged with the murder of an ex-footballer who was found shot dead three years ago.

Adam Joof, 25 and Antonio Christie, 26, are accused of killing 20-year-old Kevin Nunes who was found dead in Pattingham, Staffordshire, in 2002.

They were remanded in custody by magistrates in Burton-upon-Trent.

The pair from the West Midlands are due at Stafford Crown Court on 3 April with Owen Crooks, 24, of Wolverhampton, who was charged with murder earlier.

Mr Nunes, who was born in Jamaica, had played for Stafford Rangers.
