Jordan worker on benefits charges

A woman faces trial over allegations that she claimed council tax benefit, income support and housing benefit while working for glamour model Jordan.

Joanne Hillman, 33, of Cowley Drive, Brighton, East Sussex, denied three benefit fraud charges when she appeared at Hove Crown Court.

The case was adjourned and a trial date will be fixed for March next year.

The charges relate to when she worked as a horse groom, nanny and cleaner between June 2003 and May 2005.

They were brought following a joint investigation between Brighton and Hove City Council and the Department for Work and Pensions.

It is alleged Ms Hillman dishonestly claimed thousands of pounds worth of benefits.

Jordan, real name Katie Price, has a country home in Maresfield, East Sussex.
