The wife of a British water bike rider missing off the coast of Bali has secured an offer of help from the Indonesian ambassador.
Jeremy Hoyland, 41, of Penistone, South Yorkshire, encountered mechanical problems on 24 October and is believed to have been caught in a current.
His wife Jacqui met the ambassador on Friday and said he accepted help could be offered in a second search.
She has mobile phone records which may help track her husband's movements.
Mrs Hoyland said: "I hope and pray he'll turn up but I really really don't know.
"My gut feeling says don't give up and I just don't feel it's time to stop trying.
"It doesn't make sense that no wreckage has been found."
This time the search will focus on a different area, after phone records Mrs Hoyland obtained showed her husband made calls for help from just off the coast of Bali.
"We're feeling very positive about going back for a second search""We've got some factual information about where Jeremy actually was when he went missing as opposed to where they searched for him, which was just off Lembongan island a few miles away, where he had been that day," said Mrs Hoyland.
She added that the original search had not lasted long enough.
Mr Hoyland's wife, brother and cousin will take to the sea and air if necessary to hunt for any traces of him over the next week.
They will be accompanied by a liaison officer from South Yorkshire Police.
Mrs Hoyland met the Indonesian ambassador, Yuri Octavian Thamrin, at the Indonesian Embassy in London on Friday to discuss the trip.
She said: "We requested that while we were out in Bali, that the Indonesian authorities help support us in an additional search for Jeremy in a new location.
"The ambassador was very open in accepting that the authorities could help us by assisting us in giving us equipment and some expertise whilst we're out there.
"We're feeling very positive about going back for a second search."
Mr Hoyland, a father of two, was an official for the International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) and had gone to Bali as race director in the 2008 Asia Beach Games.
He failed to return to Tanjung Benoa beach after going out on a water bike with friends to the nearby Nusa Lembongan islet.
