Pupils' return delayed by fire
Hundreds of pupils at a South Yorkshire school have had their return to the classroom delayed because of a fire at disused buildings on the site.
Firefighters spent a second day at the old Edlington Comprehensive School on Tait Avenue in Doncaster after it was gutted in the blaze.
About 10 firefighters had remained there to damp down and assess site safety as an investigation began.
The new school buildings will now open to the 1,126 pupils on Monday.
