Fire death three named by police

Three people who died in an arson attack in South Yorkshire have been named by police.

Trevor Richardson, 37, Kane McTell, 53, and 67-year-old Barry Nicholson all perished in the blaze at the property on Albert Road on Friday.

Detectives investigating the fire in the Heeley area are treating the deaths as murder.

A fourth person is in a critical but stable condition in hospital. Three people have been arrested.

The fire started downstairs in the mid-terraced home.

Neighbours reported seeing two people leap through windows to escape, while firefighters in breathing apparatus brought two others out.
