Motorway death crash woman named

Catriona McCoy

A 24-year-old woman who was killed in a motorway crash in South Yorkshire has been named by police.

Catriona McCoy, of Brant Road, Lincoln, also known to her friends as Katie, died after her blue Ford Ka collided with a lorry.

She was airlifted to Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield but died later from her injuries.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash which happened at junction 35 on the A1M on Tuesday.
