A new distribution centre for furniture business MFI is to create 350 new jobs in South Yorkshire, the firm says.
MFI said its new National Distribution Centre, in the village of Thorne, near Doncaster, was the equivalent in size to two Wembley Stadiums.
Ed Miliband, MP for Doncaster North, officially opened the £65m centre, which is off junction six of the M18.
He said Thorne's "excellent location and transport infrastructure" made it a perfect choice for the new centre.
MFI's chief operating officer, Chris Pavlosky, was born and brought up in Thorne.
He said: "This facility is spectacular not only for its immense size, but also for its innovative technology, which will ultimately improve delivery for people."
MFI said the 350 new "local jobs" would be created by the end of the year.
