A girl and her dog who were stuck on a river embankment in Somerset have been rescued by fire crews.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to Linden Drive in Wellington at about 1400 BST.
The pair were not thought to be in any life threatening danger but the dog would not allow the crews to get close to its owner.
A ladder was used to help the girl get off the embankment and she was then able to coax her pet across.
