A controversial decision not to allow children to swim free of charge in council pools is to be reviewed.
Conservative-led Bath and North East Somerset Council (B&NES) agreed to waive entrance fees for over-60s.
But the authority said a £100,000 government grant being made available for free swimming was not enough to fund under-16s as well.
Eleven Labour and Liberal Democrat councillors disagreed and called for the decision to be reviewed.
Councillors were due to meet on Tuesday evening to discuss the matter.
