Parish help for Peruvian church

Photos taken by people in the seaside resort of Minehead are being compiled into a calendar to raise money for a church in Peru.

The congregation of the Church of the Sacred Heart plan to donate funds from their Christmas calendar to build a church in Southern Peru.

Ex Somerset-based priest, Father Michael Thomas lives in the Moquegua region of the South American country.

Parishioners in Somerset have so far raised more than £2,000 for the scheme.
