Boy questioned over body in fire

Caravan fire at Crouds Lane

A 12-year-old boy has been arrested after a man's body was found following a suspected arson attack.

Fire crews were twice called to the Crouds Lane area of Long Sutton in Somerset on Friday night, first to a shed fire, then to a caravan.

The body of a 50-year-old local man was recovered from the fire-damaged caravan at about 2300 BST.

Police investigating the suspicious death arrested the boy on Saturday and bailed him pending further inquiries.

The body has not yet been formally identified. A post-mortem examination was due to be carried out on Sunday.
