Plaque recalls visit of air ace
A memorial plaque has been unveiled in Bath to mark the public apology made by a former Luftwaffe pilot earlier this year.
The plaque honours the visit by Willi Schludecker to apologise more than 60 years after the city was bombed.
Herr Schludecker, 88, carried out three missions over Bath in 1942, before returning last April to offer the public apology.
He twice won the Iron Cross after carrying out raids over England.
