Man injured in town centre attack

A 33-year-old man sustained injuries in an assault in a town centre, police have said.

The man was attacked outside a kebab shop in Stars Lane, Yeovil, Somerset, at about 0010 BST on 26 July.

The man was taken to hospital where it was revealed he had suffered a broken collar bone and minor facial and neck injuries.

Police have appealed to witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the attack to contact them.
