Two die as car crashes into tree

Two men died when the car they were in came off a road in Somerset and crashed into a tree.

The accident happened just before 2100 BST on Monday on the A37 at Pylle, near Shepton Mallet.

Avon and Somerset police said the Honda Civic Type R car left the road near the Murco garage.

The 28-year-old driver and his 19-year-old passenger, who were both from Wells, were declared dead at the scene.
