Woman, 18, is raped in alleyway

A 18-year-old woman has been raped in Weston-super-Mare, police have said.

The victim was standing outside the Nationwide Building Society in High Street in the early hours of Sunday when a black Vauxhall Vectra pulled up.

Four men of Asian appearance dragged her into the car and she was sexually assaulted as she was driven around.

She was then taken to an alleyway by the Three Queens pub, where two of the men raped her. Four men have been arrested on suspicion of rape.

The men, all in their 20s, remain in custody and a black Vauxhall Vectra car is being examined by detectives.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened at 0400 GMT on 23 March, is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
