Woman pushed and robbed on street

A 67-year-old woman was pushed from behind before having her handbag stolen in Keynsham.

The victim was attacked by a man on Tuesday evening as she walked along High Street, near the Old Manor House Hotel.

The offender is described as white, about 5ft 11ins to 6ft 1ins with black spiked hair.

He is believed to have made off in a silver-coloured Nissan Micra which had previously been stolen from Bristol.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
