Search for bungling ram-raiders

Bungling thieves who ram-raided a business in Shropshire had to flee almost empty handed after their getaway vehicle crashed.

The incident happened in Horton Court, Hortonwood, Telford on Sunday evening.

Thieves reversed a white Iveco flatbed lorry into the roller shutters at the premises and took a number of boxes of printer cartridges.

As they drove off they crashed the lorry and had to flee, leaving most of the stolen goods behind.

The crash happened close to Trench Lock Garage just after 2145 GMT.
