Demand for debt advice increases

A Shropshire woman who is behind a national chain of debt advice centres says it has seen an increase in demand for help.

Heather Keates, from Community Money Advice, said training more volunteers was being considered because of demand in Shrewsbury.

She has helped create 70 debt advice centres in Britain in and around churches.

Her own financial problems led her to set up Community Money Advice.
