River crash lorry driver quizzed

Arley

The driver of a lorry which plunged into the River Severn in Worcestershire - sparking a massive rescue attempt - is to be interviewed again by police.

It was feared the driver had been swept away at Arley and drowned but he came forward later.

A full-scale emergency rescue operation, involving boats and underwater search teams, was launched after the incident on Tuesday.

It is still not clear who will pay for the search which lasted several hours.
