Man found with serious injuries

A 47-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after suffering serious head injuries.

A passer-by found the local man collapsed in Attwood Terrace, Dawley, Shropshire, on Sunday morning, West Mercia Police said.

It is believed the injured man, who was wearing jeans and a striped red, white and blue Lonsdale polo shirt, left the Talbott Inn pub about 0120 BST.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw him in the pub or after he left.
