Toys stolen from toddlers' group

Thieves have stolen most of the toys from a toddlers' playgroup.

Eight tricycles, a plastic house and a basketball hoop were among the items taken from Leegomery Community Centre in Telford, Shropshire.

The equipment taken from the under fives' group is expected to cost hundreds of pounds to replace.

The thieves are thought to have scaled the steel fence some time over the weekend. The children played inside on Monday while broken glass was cleared.
