A Jehovah's Witness is to talk to midwives at the hospital where a 22-year-old woman died after refusing a blood transfusion.
But the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust said the session, about pregnancy care for members of the faith, was planned before Emma Gough's death.
Ms Gough, from Telford, Shropshire, died after giving birth on 25 October at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Her religion has strict rules against receiving blood transfusions.

Trust spokesman Adrian Osborne said the talk by the Jehovah's Witness was a "routine" study day being provided for midwifery staff.
Hospital officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding Ms Gough's death.
A family friend said Kingdom Hall in Telford, where the 22-year-old worshipped, had received many cards and gifts paying tribute to her since the funeral on Monday attended by hundreds of people.
All are being passed on to her husband Anthony, he added.
Mr Gough 24, is now caring for their twins, a boy and a girl.
