Senior school pupil has swine flu

A pupil at a private girls school in Oxfordshire has been confirmed has havng swine flu.

The Oxford High School pupil had a "very mild" form of the virus and was being treated at home, the head teacher Felicity Lusk said.

She said she was advised not to close the site in Belbroughton Road, Oxford, as the girl had been at home all week.

Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust said on Friday the number of confirmed swine flu cases in the county stood at 33.
