A burst water main in Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire, has been repaired, Thames Water has said.
Engineers worked overnight to repair the damaged pipe, which left some homes without running water.
Flooding affected the area between High Street and Milton Road and there were concerns the water could freeze over, causing hazardous driving conditions.
A spokesperson for the water company said supplies were restored to the area at 1145 GMT on Thursday.
