Man charged over fatal car crash

A man has been charged with causing death by careless driving after a crash on the A44 in Oxfordshire which killed one man and left two others injured.

The two-car collision happened near Woodstock on Saturday. A 21-year-old man died at the scene.

John Biddle, 23, of Lockerley Way in Havant, Hampshire, has also been charged with causing death while driving disqualified.

He will appear before magistrates in Banbury on Thursday.

A 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy remain in a serious condition in the John Radcliffe Hospital.
