Sixty firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a National Trust-owned farmhouse in Oxfordshire.
Ten crews worked through the night to contain the fire, which badly damaged the first floor and roof of Heath Barn Farm in Eaton Hastings, near Faringdon.
The building was empty when the fire broke out on Tuesday evening, and the blaze was discovered by the occupiers when they returned.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
The building is part of a converted farm complex that dates from 1809.
Sophie Gaffney, from the National Trust, said: "We're very very relieved to know that the tenants were not in the property at the time.
"We're working with them to find them alternative accommodation."
