Motorcyclist dies after car crash

A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a car in Oxfordshire.

A Suzuki motorcycle and a Fiat Punto were involved in a collision on the A418, near the exit of the A40 from Oxford, at 1530 BST on Saturday.

The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man who has not been named, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Any witnesses have been urged to contact the Abingdon Roads Policing Department of Thames Valley Police.
