A construction union is leading a vigil for a worker who died after an accident at a building site in Oxfordshire.
Altin Balla, 28, from Aberystwyth in mid Wales, died in hospital after he became trapped with steel against his neck at Marriotts Close Development.
The Union of Construction, Allied Trades and Technicians (UCATT) will lead a vigil and one minute's silence outside the site in Witney on Tuesday.
The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the incident.
It is believed Mr Balla was crushed and trapped by steel girders while operating a cherry picker on 29 August, UCATT said.
Jerry Swain, from the union, said: "Our deepest sympathies go to Mr Balla's family.
"This tragedy yet again underlines the high number of deaths in the construction industry.
"It is essential we remember those killed at work in order to highlight the need to improve safety standards on all sites."
Local trade unionists will also pay their respects during the vigil.
