Marbles fired at homes from car

Houses and cars in three Oxfordshire villages have been damaged by marbles fired from a moving car.

Police believe vandals fired the marbles from the passenger side of the car at the windows of houses and cars in Horspath, Garsington and Wheatley.

They said a dark Land Rover Freelander was seen in the area at the time of the attacks on Wednesday night and are appealing for witnesses.

The passenger in the car is described as white and in his early 20s.

Pc Paul Gregory, of Thames Valley Police, said: "We do not tolerate this kind of anti-social behaviour.

"The neighbourhood team are working hard to catch those responsible."
