Two men are killed in crash on A1

Two men were killed when their vehicle left the A1 and hit a tree.

The Nissan Assenta people carrier crashed between Blyth and Ranby shortly before 0700 BST. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.

Three passengers, two boys and a man were taken to Bassetlaw Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The road was closed in both directions for several hours. Nottinghamshire Police said the men would not be named until their families had been told.
