Motorcyclist killed in collision

A 27-year-old woman has died after her motorcycle collided with a car on a Nottinghamshire road.

Lucie Stone from Forest Town, Mansfield was riding her Honda motorcycle on the A6097 Oxton bypass when she collided with a Mitsubishi Space Wagon.

The 42-year-old male driver of the Mitsubishi sustained minor injuries in the accident which happened at about 1445 BST on Sunday, police said.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
