Police appeal in stabbing murder

Nigel Bacon

Police have made a further appeal for help with a murder inquiry after a man was found dead outside his cottage near Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire.

Nigel Bacon, 50, a gamekeeper, was discovered with stab wounds on 26 November and later died at Bassetlaw District General Hospital.

A post-mortem examination carried out at Leicester Royal Infirmary showed he died of stab wounds to the upper body.

Detectives said they want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.

The bungalow is located just off the A614 near to the turning for Bothamsall and opposite a main entrance to Clumber Park.
