Armed men rob city betting shop

Tote Sport

Police in Nottingham are searching for three armed men who robbed a betting shop in the city.

Officers were called to the Tote Sport bookmakers on Robin Hood Chase in the St Ann's area of the city at about 2100 BST on Thursday.

Three men, all armed with handguns, stole a quantity of cash from the shop and escaped.

Police have asked any witnesses to come forward. It is not yet known whether anyone was injured in the robbery.
