Man charged with care home attack

A 29-year-old man has been charged in connection with assaults at a Nottingham residential home.

The four assault charges follow a police investigation into attacks at the Chester House residential home in Sherwood Rise.

Christopher Clarke, of Wellington Street, Eastwood, is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.

A 41-year-old woman who was also arrested has been released without charge, Nottinghamshire police said.

The home currently has 24 residents and caters for people with dementia.
