Swimming pool shut by sauna fire

A swimming pool in Nottinghamshire has been forced to close after fire broke out in a sauna.

A number of people had to leave the South Forest Leisure Centre in Edwinstowe, but no-one was injured.

General Manager Julie English said the rest of the centre, including a bowls centre and restaurant, had not been affected by Thursday's incident.

Several fire engines from the surrounding area, including Warsop and Retford, tackled the blaze.
