Police forces across the East Midlands have launched their festive campaigns to tackle drink driving.
The message from police in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire to drivers is not to drink at all.
The message from Leicester police was that drivers could be going home in a hearse or an ambulance if they drink.
In Derbyshire officers are offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information leading to the arrest of drink drivers.
At the launch of the campaign in Leicestershire a taxi, a police car, an ambulance and a hearse were parked outside a supermarket in the city under the headline: "How will you be going home tonight?"

"The message to motorists is don't risk it! If you don't think you'll get caught - you are wrong," said Insp Viv Brenchley from Leicestershire Police.
Derbyshire Police have teamed up with Crimestoppers to offer a reward of up to £1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charge of drivers who are over the drink drive limit.
"Unfortunately, during the festive season, some drivers will be even more tempted to take risks and we are determined to do as much as we possibly can to keep death and injury off our roads," said Ch Insp Paul Berry.
Nottinghamshire police will be targeting more than a hundred people who have had more than one drink drive conviction to their names in recent years.
"In our eyes they are as much criminals as people who rob people in the street, these people rob others of their lives," said Ch Insp Andy Charlton.
"There will be focused activity on individuals, we're going to be looking to see - are you still out there? Are you driving? If so we're going to be looking for you."
Insp Tony Mendham from Lincolnshire Police said: "The message is if you're driving don't drink at all, it's the only safe way to be driving."
