Police name man stabbed in street

A man who died after being found stabbed on a street in Nottinghamshire has been named by police.

Michael Sanderson, 42, from Cotgrave, was found hurt on Sunday morning on Turner Drive, Worksop.

He was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital but died from his injuries. A post-mortem examination showed he died from a single stab wound.

Detectives said they were currently questioning a 54-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman over the stabbing.
